Желал поменять свою старенькую Mia на UR22mkII. Подскажите- разрешилась проблема с прерыванием звука? Или нет? Может дрова обновили?
вовсе не охота купить и потом лазить по всяким биосам- то включите это отключите. А у меня проц и мамка последнего поколение ( i5) . Может тогда
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen или Tascam US-2x2 купить?

UR242, куплена несколько дней назад. Подтверждаю наличие проблемы, паузы в звуке есть, удалось поймать на WDM (музыка в itunes и aimp), в ASIO пока не было. Относительно редки и нерегулярны - может отработать пару часов нормально, потом в течении 20 минут раз 5-10 прерваться на секунду. Комп без разгона, мать ASUS Z170 pro gaming, воткнуто USB 2.0, win7x64, правда, винде года два и стоит много чего, драйвер последний с сайта, 1.9.10. Сбросом настроек в bios не вылечилось.

UPD В ASIO ещё веселее - искажения типа дисторшн на звуке спустя несколько минут работы в Рипере. Другие DAW пока не пробовал. Лечится открытием-закрытием окна настроек (инициализацией карты, как я понял). Размер буфера, насколько я вижу, не влияет. В общем, всё, от чего хотел убежать, выбрав Steinberg вместо Focusrite - всё это огрёб по полной программе. Нет смысла выбирать USB-карту, пацаны, карма тебя настигнет везде.

У меня была такая же проблема с пропаданием звука, только на Steinberg CI1, решение нашел на официальном форуме - подключил карту через USB HUB 2.0 с питанием от розетки. После этого звук не пропадает, карта работает исправно.

Я купил первый, попавшийся мне в ближайшем магазине техники, Viewcon VE 410, но мне кажется, модель хаба здесь не принципиальна, важно, чтобы он питался от розетки. На форуме steinberg, откуда я узнал об этом способе, у парня был хаб Belkin F5U237.

2. RESTRICTIONS

3. TERMINATION

This Agreement becomes effective on the day that you receive the SOFTWARE and remains effective until terminated. Upon such termination, you must immediately abort using the SOFTWARE and destroy any accompanying written documents and all copies thereof.

4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY ON SOFTWARE

If you believe that the downloading process was faulty, you may contact Yamaha, and Yamaha shall permit you to re-download the SOFTWARE, provided that you first destroy any copies or partial copies of the SOFTWARE that you obtained through your previous download attempt. This permission to re-download shall not limit in any manner the disclaimer of warranty set forth in Section 5 below.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that use of the SOFTWARE is at your sole risk. The SOFTWARE and related documentation are provided "AS IS" and without warranty of any kind. This SOFTWARE may include the software or its modifications which include any open source licenses, including but not limited to GNU General Public License or Lesser General Public License ("OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE"). Your use of OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE is subject to the license terms specified by each rights holder. If there is a conflict between the terms and conditions of this Agreement and each open source license, the open source license terms will prevail only where there is a conflict.

7. THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE AND SERVICE

Third party software, service and data ("THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE") may be attached to the SOFTWARE. IF, in the written materials or the electronic data accompanying the software, Yamaha identifies any software and data as THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE, you acknowledge and agree that you must abide by the terms of any agreement provided with the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE and that the party providing the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE is responsible for any warranty or liability related to or arising from the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE. Yamaha is not responsible in any way for the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE or your use thereof.

  • Yamaha provides no express warranties as to the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE. IN ADDITION, YAMAHA EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, as to the THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE.

Yamaha may amend, revise or update this Agreement at its discretion. Any change or update that Yamaha makes to this Agreement will be effective after you agree with the updated terms of this Agreement or use this SOFTWARE.

Hello to all Montage users,

I have the following problem. If I want to start Sample Robot or the JM Montage Waveform Editor I get the following message from my system:

throw - regopenkeyex() in resultiswin10

The newest Windows 10 64 Bit version is installed. What happend here?

Can someone help?

Both Editors are not working. The Performance Editor works fine and the Live Set Editor works fine too.

Go to CONTROL PANEL > Hardware and Sound > and find the Driver > double click on it

it tells me that it is working correctly. But ater reinstalling from the JM Waveform Editor and the Sample Robot tool they coul not sart and send the same message.

Now I want to uninstall the driver but it toesnt't work because one of the files are not find.

Whenn I start the Setup again it tells me one mor this message:

Steinberg USB Driver Throw - RegOpenKeyEx() in Resultiswin10

I can only press Enter for Ok.

I think that the last system update will broken something at the Driver but it works all right with the JM Tools.

it reports the same as I told You yesterday and after pressing the Ok button it tells me that it is preparing the installation. It shows me 0% and it is hanging there.

What is the name and version of the Driver, please?
I ask since there is no such thing as a “Steinberg Driver”.

I'm now in the details of the driver and look for the version and date.

Date is : 02.08.2018
Version is: 1.10.2.0
I think that will be the problem.
But I have not the tool for that Version at my system. And do not find it on the German site.
Can I get this at the US site?
I hope this will help me to remove the od driver from my system.

You say the latest version is installed - yet the German site:

latest version for Windows is shown as:

To uninstall, you would go to Windows Key -> Add Or Remove Programs then "Search This List" enter "Steinberg" and there should be "Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver" listed which, after clicking, will show "Uninstall".

If I press the windows keyboard key then type "add" - windows presents me as the first choice "Add Or Remove Programs".

Note that each "YSUSB" driver ZIP file has an "InstallGuide" directory with PDFs in multiple languages (including German, if preferred) that outlines both install and uninstall instructions for Windows and Mac. These instructions have you using the Control Panel.

thanks for Your help.

I solved the problem. And here is the solution:

1. Downloading the old driver 1.10.2.0 from the Yamaha website.

2. Deinstalling with that Setup tool.

3. After deinstalling I installed the downloaded new one.

And now it works fine agin.

I think that it will be a good idea that Steinberg will change there installation routines to check up what kind of Driver is installed and remove it without the needs to have other older Setups at the PC.

The most programs I know are using this function and make this happen.

I've had to uninstall drivers frequently to get past the soundmondo bug. I've never had to download the old version of the driver. The instructions I left work without having to get the "old driver" package. Windows keeps the uninstall/setup for everything it installs and allows access to this from the "Add Or Remove Programs" feature. Also available through the Control Panel but labeled as "Programs And Features".

The "Programs And Features" method uses the old windows style that should look familiar from Windows Vista/7/8. The other method I gave, "Add or Remove Programs", is the newer style "Metro" interface that was introduced with Win 8 and since has most system-level Windows applications moving to this kind of interface. These also respect the "dark mode" while the older style apps (such as "Programs And Features" ) do not.

Not to say the above is the bible .

I guess it's possible that somehow you could try to remove drivers by milling around your filesystem and deleting files manually without doing a true uninstall. Depending on what you delete (i.e. corrupt) - you may end up trashing the uninstall which may be resolved by either downloading the old driver - or just doing an in-place install of the newer driver which should prompt you to uninstall the old driver if the stars align.

If this is how you got there (manual deletion) - then don't do that in the future. Around the Windows NT introduction days, we would "affectionately" call Windows "Windows Jr.". As frequently Windows would corrupt and the easiest way to resolve would be to "JR" - just reinstall. Similar pessimistic product acronym humor as "FORD".

I'm trying to make sense of what you wrote and how it involves the Montage, exactly. Very unclear. if you used a Translate program, please try it again. if not please forgive me, but we need more details:

I assume we are talking about the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver (the one used for a computer and the Montage).
We will need the type of computer (Mac, I presume), the operating system, and the version number of the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver. (very important information for troubleshooting)

I do not know what "MPC 2.0 apps" are, or what is going on with "Bluetooth (Mouse Keyboard)" or what the "external Hard Drive" has to do with the Montage. I get you are having problems with ejecting external drives. but what do they have to do with what you are attempting to do.

What happens when you properly eject your drives before closing down your apps?

The mention of the applications it could be MPC 2.0/Logic Pro X/Cubase 9 the problems is the apps InitializeYamaha Steinberg USB drivers MIDI drivers 1.9.10.

When I turn on and off the Montage without starting the any of the apps while the Montage is connected to computer via USB ,I do not get prompted with improperly ejecting Hard drives, My mouse and Keyboard are Bluetooth they do not disconnect or have no function/Freezes.

The problem only happens when I run the above applications mention and I turn off the Montage before closing the applications be it MPC 2.0/Logic pro x/ Cubase 9 Artist that I get Disk not ejected properly My Bluetooth mouse and keyboard freezes or disconnect. You have to hold the power button to shut down computer.

So it only happens when Applications are open that initializesYamaha Steinberg USB Audio/MIDI drivers 1.9.10

There are also time when I have to go to Audio MIDI setup/MIDI Studio to rescan to initiate/reconnect MIDI driver to Application because of non activity when using above application when I want to use MIDI instead of Audio.

This has been mention on this forum. I did not have this issue before I updated the drivers.
