Жена давно хотела Apple Watch, но покупать их смысла не было, так как они работают только с iPhone 6s и старше (так написано на сайте Apple), а у нее был iPhone 6. После покупки нового iPhone решил на Новый год подарить ей часы. Планировалось сделать сюрприз, поэтому узнать у жены её желаний относительно цвета и размера не было возможности. Пришлось попотеть с выбором: пересмотрел несколько часов видеообзоров, сравнивал размеры, рассматривал варианты цветов, сочетания корпуса и ремешков. В итоге выбор остановился на Apple Watch SE в варианте Nike, размер корпуса 44 мм, цвет серебристый. Артикул Apple MYYH2RU/A. Розовый цвет показался более строгим и не таким универсальным для сочетания с различными ремешками, размер 40 мм - слишком маленьким. Выбрал вариант Nike из-за перфорированного ремешка, в котором, судя по отзывам, не потеет запястье (отличие еще есть в предустановленных циферблатах и приложении Nike, которых нет в стандартных часах, но мне это было не важно). Сравнивая модель SE с часами серии 5 и 6 решил, что переплачивать нет смысла. В итоге часы были куплены в Эльдорадо. Поставляются часы в стильной коробке черного цвета (у часов не-Nike коробка белая).
Распаковывать часы очень приятно: отличное качество материалов, красочная типография, продуманные детали вроде кармашков для инструкций, хвостиков для вскрытия и т.д. Хоть и летит упаковка потом в самый дальний шкаф, но определенное удовольствие доставляет. Комплект поставки достаточно скудный: часы, ремешок и кабель. В принципе, привычное дело для Apple. Сетевого зарядного тоже нет.
Комплектный ремешок выполнен из бархатистого силикона, штырек металлический. На глаз и на ощупь всё выполнено качественно и приятно, посмотрим, насколько крепким окажется в эксплуатации (даже оригинальные силиконовые чехлы для iPhone быстро теряют лоск). Кстати, в коробке с ремешком одна из половинок в двух разных размерах - условно говоря, для мужской и женской руки.
Больше всего вопросов вызывает комплектный зарядный кабель. Во-первых, он короткий, всего 1 метр. Во-вторых, это не Lightning, как на iPhone и наушниках AirPods, то есть теперь в отпуск придется брать с собой дополнительный провод, чтобы заряжать часы. В-третьих, на другом конце старый разъем USB type A. Это лучше всего показывает какую-то чехарду в компании с разъемами: в комплекте с iPhone идет кабель Lightning c USB type C, для которого необходимо купить сетевое зарядное устройство с USB type C. Но при этом, купив самую последнюю модель часов Apple, выпущенную в 2020 году, придется покупать еще зарядное устройство с USB type A и таскать с собой два зарядных устройства. А еще, если Вам очень повезло и у Вас есть современный ноутбук Apple, то от него зарядить часы тоже не получится, потому что там разъемы только USB type C. Короче говоря, хочешь-не хочешь, а придется поломать голову и что-то покупать: либо зарядный кабель для часов с разъемом USB type C (оригинальный на сайте Apple длиной 1 м стоит каких-то 2990 руб.), либо неоригинальный блок питания с двумя разъемами, либо к своему новому iPhone искать кабель со старым разъемом USB type A, ну и блок питания. Короче, головная боль для пользователя на ровном месте.
Настройка часов занимает считанные минуты: на дисплее часов появляется анимация, iPhone ее сканирует и всё, пара между устройствами создана. Затем несколько минут уходит на скачивание приложений, настройку карт в Apple Pay и все. Магия Apple в действии! Экран часов хорош - глубокий черный цвет, яркие цвета, аккуратный шрифт, никаких засветов и пятен. Анимация в меню нигде не тормозит, переходы между приложениями происходят моментально. Понравилось пользоваться колесиком Digital Crown - вращается плавно, с небольшим усилием, без какого-либо люфта. Единственный нюанс, к которому надо привыкнуть заключается в том, что переход назад в меню происходит по нажатию на колесико, но одним пальцем сделать это непросто, приходится обхватывать корпус часов двумя пальцами. Заряда аккумулятора без использования тренировочных режимов спокойно хватает на два дня. Вообще, так как смарт-часы - это явно не устройство первой необходимости, сценарии их использования далеко не очевидные. Особенно, когда уже есть обычные кварцевые часы. По результатам недолгой эксплуатации, какие варианты использования выделили для себя:
2. Оказалось удобным пользоваться таймером и секундомером - вот он, прямо на руке.
3. Часы водонепроницаемые, поэтому их должно быть удобно использовать для тренировок по плаванию - они будут считать количество бассейнов и следить за прогрессом. Еще не довелось их испытать в этом деле, но интересно попробовать.
4. Для тех, кто мечтает похудеть, часы могут стать хорошим стимулом и помощником, так как постоянно напоминают про необходимость размяться и подвигаться, если засиделся. Реально заставляешь себя встать из-за стола и хотя бы просто походить.
5. Бесшумный будильник - идеальный вариант, когда надо встать раньше всех, но не хочется всех разбудить. Будильник на телефоне будет молчать, часы будут тихо вибрировать на запястье.
Из преимуществ вытекает и недостаток часов - человеку становится еще сложнее оказаться в режиме офлайн - постоянно приходят уведомления, напоминания, звонки, от них сложнее спрятаться. Но если прятаться, то зачем тогда вообще смарт-часы? Короче, без них легко можно обойтись, но и пользу от них каждый для себя так или иначе найдет. Отмечу, что размер 44 мм для тонкой женской руки кажется немного великоватым, но удобство использования более крупного дисплея оказывается важнее.
Для себя решил, что сейчас посмотрю на опыт использования часов женой, изучу возможные сценарии и возможно решусь на покупку таких же себе.
