Karuta bot is a Discord game bot which allows players to play an anime card game. Basically it is a collectible card game bot in Discord which allows you to collect, upgrade, trade and even earn anime characters. Currently Karuta bot has more than 78000 anime characters in its collection. The biggest difference between Karuta bot and other anime bots is that the cards and characters that you earn through Karuta bot will be yours even on a different server. This means that your collection will be valid across any Discord server that has the Karuta bot invited in it. Not only that, Karuta bot allows you to get anime waifus, either by automatic spawn or by manual rolling. This way, users have both options available to them. How to add Karuta Bot to your Discord server?

Adding Karuta bot to any Discord server is very easy and simple. Just follow the steps below-:

STEP 2 : After going to the official website, click on the blue button that says “ Invite Karuta to your server ”.

STEP 3: After clicking on the button, you will be redirected to Discord, where you will be asked to login to your Discord. After logging in or if you are already logged in then you will be asked to select the server to which you want to add the Karuta bot to.

STEP 4: After selecting the server, click on CONTINUE. After this you will be asked for authorization for the permissions that the Karuta bot needs on your server. Review these permissions and then click on AUTHORIZE.

After clicking on Authorize, the Karuta bot will be successfully added to your Discord server and you can start creating your own collection of anime waifus.

How to use the Karuta Bot?

The Karuta bot is essentially a trading card game where you have to open a pack of cards. Each pack either drops 3 or 4 cards (4 cards if you buy a blessing). You can then react to the first, second or third to get the first, second or third card respectively. This is the entire premise of the game. After playing for some time, you can create your own collection of cards, which you can then choose to build upon them to make them look nicer, or trade with other players to get the character card from the anime or series that you want.

To drop the cards, first you are gonna have to set the permissions. Go to the channel where you want the drops to happen and type – k!set . This will set that channel as the place where the Karuta bot drops the cards. After doing this, just type – k!drop to drop three cards. React to the one you like and that card will be claimed by you. You must wait for 30 minutes to drop cards again.

It’s very important that Karuta has the ability to read messages in every channel of your server. Without these permissions, Karuta will not be able to provide your server with the highest amount of automated card drops. Automated card drops are based on server activity, which is determined only if the bot can see where active text chats are occurring in your server. If you want to disable Karuta’s ability to respond to commands in any channel, simply remove its ability to send messages in those channels.

Karuta works best when given its own channel. When you’ve picked a channel where you’d like cards to drop in, use the k!set command in it to set the active Karuta channel. This tells the bot where to send all automated card drops and prevents server members from dropping cards anywhere except in this channel.

One last, optional step to setting up Karuta is setting your server’s chest goal. Each Karuta server has its own chest, which you can think of as an inventory that belongs to the server. Members of your server can contribute gems to this chest, which can then be used to unlock special perks for your server. Currently, the only server-based perk available is the Abundance Aura. To set this item as your server’s chest goal, use the k!chestset abundance aura command.

That’s all it takes! Karuta is now set up in your server and your members can begin dropping cards and grabbing as they please.

Although Karuta has dozens of commands, which you can find further down this page, the bot’s two core mechanics are dropping and grabbing.

Dropping

Users can drop cards by going to the server’s active Karuta channel and using the k!drop command. This command will allow you to drop three cards with a 30-minute cooldown. Both the number of cards dropped and cooldown can be improved through items in the gem shop.

Additionally, the server will automatically drop cards based on the server’s chat activity. If many users are actively chatting, cards can drop as frequently as once every minute. For less active servers, cards will drop slower.

Grabbing

When you see a card you want to add to your collection, click or tap on the reaction beneath the card drop which corresponds to it. For example, if the card you want was dropped as the second card in the set, you’d click or tap the 2️⃣ emoji reaction.

If no one else reacts to that same card within one second, it’s yours. Otherwise, all users who react to the card will fight over it. Fighting for a card is a simple RNG mechanic where a random user who reacted is awarded the card, which is intended to help out high-latency players and discourage botting. Players who manually drop cards will always win fights for their dropped cards.
